Join our nationwide network of licensed beauty professionals and local support staff to bring the Look Good Feel Better experience to your community or to help people in cancer treatment look and feel their best everywhere.

There are so many ways to volunteer with Look Good Feel Better and make an impact. More than ever, your dedicated support helps give hope to those affected by cancer.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Look Good Feel Better. Volunteers are the heart of our program and are so important to our success in helping individuals with cancer feel like themselves again.

Licensed beauty professionals lead group workshops for those in cancer treatment, while other volunteers support workshop logistics.

We need volunteer cosmetologists and estheticians to help lead LGFB group workshops in many hospital locations across the country. Please complete and submit our volunteer application, and we will be in touch to let you know if there are volunteer opportunities in your area.

New volunteers receive in-depth, specialized online training, and shadow experienced volunteers at a workshop before beginning their Look Good Feel Better volunteer work.

Existing, certified volunteers participate in periodic online training updates for continuing education and to learn about any changes in the program, and have continuous access to online resources and the Look Good Feel Better team.

We are currently recruiting for:
  • Licensed Beauty Professionals to lead in-person workshops in select LGFB Alliance partner sites across the country
  • Cosmetologists to lead LGFB Live! Virtual Workshops. This position requires knowledge of video conferencing, having a reliable high-speed internet connection, and a minimum of a one-year commitment.

Role Descriptions: Workshop Facilitators, who must be Licensed Beauty Professionals, lead and teach workshops. Workshop Assistants setup the room and greet and assist participants. Site Coordinators support on-site logistics and workshop reporting. Virtual Workshop Facilitators lead online workshops, and must be trained beauty professionals and very comfortable with technology, one-year commitment.
