As the Executive Director of the Professional Beauty Association (PBA), Steve Sleeper works with PBA's volunteer Governing Council and Leadership Councils to offer business tools, education, government advocacy, and networking opportunities to individual member businesses and the professional beauty industry as a whole. Sleeper has 23 years of progressive accounting, managerial, and executive-level experience in the governmental, private sector, public accounting, and trade association environment. He has been with PBA since 1995, and has fulfilled the roles of manager of finance, director of finance, general manager and Executive Director during that time.

Sleeper also served on the board and currently acts as chief operations officer of the international LLC, North American Beauty Events (NABE), a joint venture between PBA and IFI, an Italian international trade show owner/organizer. A native of Arizona, Sleeper received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Moorhead State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Arizona. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Arizona Society of CPAs, and the American Society of Association Executives.
