In Person Workshops

Group workshops are step-by-step makeover learning sessions led by cosmetology professionals using products donated by the cosmetic industry. Each two-hour, hands-on workshop includes a 12-step skin care and makeup lesson, nail care techniques, and professional advice on how to deal with hair loss using wigs, scarves, hats, hairpieces, and other accessories.

Patients at various stages of treatment receive personal attention and take home instruction booklets and complimentary cosmetic kits in shades that match their skin tones. Each year, thousands of individuals participate in small groups of five to 10, creating a sense of support and community.

Group workshops are offered nationwide in comprehensive cancer centers, hospitals, and other community settings.

Virtual Workshops

Look Good Feel Better Live! Virtual Workshops provide valuable information to people who may feel safer gathering online, have difficulty getting to a group workshop, don’t have one close by, or prefer to have more scheduling flexibility.

Through live-streaming video/webinar technology, a licensed beauty professional guides a small group of participants in skin care and makeup techniques, nail care, body image, wardrobe and styling, and the utilization of wigs and head coverings to help manage the appearance side effects of cancer treatment.

Look Good Feel Better Makeup Kits

Due to limited resources and the maintenance of quality control, we are only able to provide makeup kits to patients being treated at active alliance partner hospitals. Please ask someone at your treatment site if you are being treated at an active alliance partner hospital.

If you’re a hospital professional and are interested in partnering with Look Good Feel Better as an alliance member, please contact admin@lookgoodfeelbetter.org

Products in the Look Good Feel Better makeup kits are donated by member companies of the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) and assembled by the Look Good Feel Better Foundation.

The Look Good Feel Better makeup kits are available in a range of shades which, for program purposes, are identified as light, medium, dark, and extra dark, and are provided to Look Good Feel Better workshop participants.

Our Skincare and Makeup virtual workshop does not require any participant to have a makeup kit.  Upon registering for a Look Good Feel Better Live! virtual workshop, participants receive a confirmation email detailing the materials and makeup products they can gather in advance of the workshop date. If you are unable to gather some or all of these products, no worries-- you are welcome to attend the workshop and learn valuable makeup and skincare application techniques and tips to help you and other workshop participants with appearance concerns during cancer treatment.
