LGFB Goes to Hollywood

This week’s update contains some very exciting news for everyone here at on the Look Good Feel Better team. Sunday night LGFB celebrated in true Hollywood style at the premier of Rabbit Hole starring Nicole Kidman, Aaron Eckhart, Dianne Wiest, Miles Teller, Tammy Blanchard and Sandra Oh during AFI Fest.  Clarisonic, who has an ongoing partnership with LGFB, invited us to be their guests of honor during AFI Fest’s screening of the movie. Clairsonic was also kind enough to invite our volunteers from the L.A area to attend the event.

Along with the movie premier AFI and Clarisonic hosted an education panel moderated by LGFB advocate and cancer survivor, Geralyn Lucas the author of Why I Wore Makeup To My Mastectomy.  Serving on the panel were cancer survivors Dawn Charles and Robin Enos, and Clarisonic ambassador and celebrity makeup artist Darrell Redleaf.

The highlight of the evening (other than of course the fabulous movie premier!) was during the reception Clarisonic presented two checks to LGFB.  One check for $30,000 from the Facebook “Like” campaign that went on during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and a second check for $500,000!

We would like to give many thanks to Clarisonic for being wonderful supporters of our organization!
