Look Good Feel Better – And Our Corporate Partners – Are Here For Women During Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, when it seems everything and everyone goes pink to honor and support women with breast cancer. For Look Good Feel Better, October is an important time to remind all women with cancer that we are here for them, offering our Look Good Feel Better workshops through our Live! virtual platform.
We Stand Against Racism
Look Good Feel Better® stands with the Black community in condemning racism and injustice in our country. We stand with everyone working toward a kinder, more inclusive world. As a cancer support organization, we know that cancer does not discriminate, and we work to create safe, inclusive programs for the patients we serve. In addition to the resources found here on our website, we’ve compiled a list of cancer support resources for Black women and other women of color to help in navigating your unique cancer experience.
A Season of Change
For the past several months, Look Good Feel Better® has been in close contact with our Alliance partner hospitals and reviewing guidance from healthcare experts. Based on their recommendations, we have made the difficult call to extend our suspension of in-person Look Good Feel Better workshops through the end of March 2021 due to continued COVID-19 health concerns for our participants, volunteers, and hospital staff partners.

Important Update on Look Good Feel Better® Workshops
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to impact communities and healthcare providers nationwide, we have extended the temporary suspension on Look Good Feel Better® (LGFB) in-person workshops through May 2020. Moving forward, we will make the decision when to reinstate in-person workshops in conjunction with our Alliance partner hospitals, and in accordance with local stay-at-home orders.
